A New Canvas for FIFA's Beach Soccer World Cup
A special commission of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2025 held in the Seychelles.

FIFA commissioned Corzek for the Beach Soccer World Cup 2025. At the time, Corzek had only worked in traditional football. Covering this tournament marked the beginning of exploring a new sport. Although the two sports have their similarities there were nuances in rules, tactics and styles were very different.
Corzek believes that “athletes are artists” and this commission gave Corzek the opportunity to show this art on a brand new canvas. Beach soccer had enabled Corzek to highlight artistry that would happen very rarely in football. Skills like overhead kicks, flying blocks and flamboyant mid game keep ups, happened far more frequently, allowing the aesthete to appreciate these skills in Corzek’s signature slow motion style.
Corzek provided full tournament coverage, across 20 days in the Seychelles, highlighting the beauty of the sport and the country's vibrant fan culture. Corzek delivered 16 videos across the tournament, reaching a combined 429m views. The view per video average for the tournament was 26.8m, which put the engagement rate on par with works commissioned in football. These results made the FBSWC 25 the most viewed in history, providing the fan base with high quality match highlights whilst bringing millions of new eyes to the sport.
A Mazza by Reza
The most viewed art piece was a bicycle kick from Iran's Reza Amirizadeh which was seen by 88 million on all platforms, with 49 million views on Instagram alone.
The Tournament's Family Hertitage
This take on by Brasil’s Benjamin Jr, whose father had also played for Brasil's Beach Soccer National team between 1996 to 2011, receiving 85m views across all platforms. Benjamin Jr, (Benjinha) is known for his flair on the pitch and his technical skills with the ball on the floor, rather than in the air, making him immediately stand out as a player Corzek would want to capture. Across the tournament, he displayed many moments of magic, with this video taking the spotlight.
Os Campeões
Brasil finished the tournament champions, cementing their 7th victory in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, captured in Corzek's signature style.
The Process
To commission the full tournament, Corzek had 3 artisans in the London atelier and 1 artisan on the ground filming in Seychelles, covering the full tournament, including pre-tournament training. The production process included filming, song selection, colour-grading and timing, allowing the artists work to be shown in the most clear and beautiful way possible.
